Carving the Structure
Planning every detail digitally before materials reach the shop floor.
Plan the Cut Before the Material Reaches the Mill
Before material reaches the milling machine, T&S Building Solutions uses VCarve to plan and prepare the wood cuts digitally. The software allows our team to lay out shapes, profiles, pockets, grooves, lettering, decorative details, and other routed features while working from the dimensions required for the project. By developing the toolpaths ahead of time, we can review how each cut will be made and make adjustments before committing the actual material to the milling process.
Once the design and toolpaths are checked, the prepared information is sent to our milling machine so the wood can be cut with the accuracy and repeatability the project requires. This digital-to-fabrication workflow helps us coordinate dimensions, use material efficiently, and catch potential issues before machining begins. The goal is to plan the geometry, verify the cuts, and give the mill a precise path to follow, helping our shop turn the approved design into clean, consistent components ready for assembly, finishing, and installation.
