Refine the Design Before the Laser Makes the Cut
For our custom metalwork, T&S Building Solutions uses VCarve to prepare the shapes, profiles, openings, decorative patterns, and other details that need to be cut into the material. Working digitally first allows our team to review dimensions, spacing, geometry, and the relationship between individual pieces before the metal reaches the machine. This gives us an opportunity to refine the design and verify the cut information before fabrication begins.
Once the design is prepared and checked, we transfer the cutting information into the RayTools program on the laser cutter, where the final machine settings and cutting process are prepared for the metal itself. This workflow helps us carry the approved design from the computer to the shop floor with greater consistency and precision. By planning the geometry in VCarve, verifying the details, and then preparing the cut through RayTools, we can produce clean metal components that are ready for fitting, finishing, assembly, and installation.
